Your first sign-in

You don't create your own account. Your Clinic Admin adds you from Users, and Clinic24x7 emails you a welcome message with a link to set your password.

  1. Open the welcome email and click the link. It takes you to Choose a new password.
  2. Type your new password twice and click Reset password.
  3. Go to clinic24x7.in/login, enter your Email address and Password, and click Log in.

You land on your Dashboard. What's on it depends on your role (see Finding your way around).

Starting a free trial

A clinic that isn't on Clinic24x7 yet can click Get 15 Day Free Trial on the login page (or Start trial on the website). You'll be asked for the clinic's details and your own. Once you verify your email address, you're signed in as the clinic's first Clinic Admin.

Verifying your email

After signing up you'll get an email with a verification link. Clicking it shows Verifying your email…, then takes you to your dashboard. If the link is missing or has expired, the page offers Resend verification email: type your account email and we'll send a fresh link.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your Email address and click Send reset link.
  3. Open the email, click the link, choose a new password and click Reset password.

For your security, the page always says "If an account exists for that email, we've sent a link", whether or not the email is registered. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then ask your Clinic Admin to confirm the email address on your account.

You can also start a reset while you're signed in: Settings → Password emails you a reset link.

Changing your profile

Open Settings from the sidebar.

  • Profile shows your name, email and phone numbers. Your Clinic Admin can change these from Users if anything is wrong.
  • Professional profile (doctors only) holds your registration number, qualification, experience and biography. These appear on prescriptions, letters and your clinic's website.
  • Password sends you a reset link.
  • Sessions lets you sign out everywhere (below).

Signing out

Click your initials at the top right, or Log out at the bottom of the sidebar.

Signing out of every device

If you signed in on a shared computer and forgot to log out, or you think someone else knows your password:

  1. Go to Settings → Sessions.
  2. Click Log out of all devices, then confirm with Log out everywhere.

Every active session ends, including the one you're using, and you'll need to log in again. Change your password straight away if you think it was seen by someone else.

Keeping your account safe

  • Use a password you don't use anywhere else, and never share it. Every action is recorded against your name in the audit log, so a shared login makes it impossible to tell who did what.
  • Each person at the clinic should have their own account. Adding a user costs nothing extra.
  • Sessions are kept in secure, encrypted browser cookies that scripts can't read.
  • On the mobile app, turn on Settings → Auto-lock so the app signs you out after a period of inactivity.
