Services and prices
Build the list of treatments you offer, with prices, GST and durations — from the standard catalog or by hand.
Your services are the treatments you offer: consultation, scaling, filling, root canal, crown, extraction, implant, X-rays and so on. They're used in treatment plans, procedures, Quick Visit and invoices. Go to Services ("The clinic's billable service catalog").
Adding from the catalog (recommended)
- Click Add from catalog.
- "Tick what your clinic offers and set your prices." The catalog has the common dental treatments with their usual names and the short forms dentists say ("RCT", "IOPA").
- Type a price for each ticked service, or tick several and use Same price for all ticked.
- Save.
Adding a service by hand
Add Service ("Add a billable service to the catalog"):

Changing prices
Edit the service and change Default price. New plans, procedures and invoices use the new price. Existing plans and invoices keep the price they had, so a quote you gave a patient doesn't change under them.
Deactivating a service
Open it and Deactivate: "This service will no longer be selectable for new treatment plan items." History stays intact. Reactivate brings it back. Services are never deleted, because past records point to them.

Search the list by code or name.
