Quick phrases

A quick phrase is a sentence you can insert into a field in one click, for example "Oral hygiene instructions given." or "Patient advised warm saline rinses."

Creating one

Clinic Admins: Quick Phrases → Add.

• Phrase: the text.
• Shows in: which fields offer it: General (shows everywhere), Chief complaint, History of present illness, Clinical findings, Diagnosis, Consultation notes or Prescription instructions.

"Phrase added." Deactivate phrases you no longer use; reactivate them any time.

Using one

Next to a supported field, click Insert a quick phrase and pick one. If none are set up for that field: "No saved phrases for this field yet."

Consultation note templates

A note template fills all five consultation fields at once. It's ideal for routine visits.

Creating one

Clinic Admins: Consultation Note Templates → Add.

• Template name, for example Routine Checkup.
• Chief complaint, History of present illness, Clinical findings, Diagnosis, Consultation notes: the text for each.

Using one

On a consultation, click Load a template and pick one. If the fields aren't empty you're asked Replace current notes? first. Then edit the details for this patient.

Treatment plan templates and visit kits

• Treatment Plan Templates bundle services for a plan (for example Root Canal + Crown). See Treatment plans.
